Survey: 50% Mobile phones Sold This Year Affordable 3G

More than 50 percent of all phones sold so far this year is predicted to have a 3G or 4G network support. Sales of mobile phones will continue to grow, although the holidays are over. Similarly, a recent report issued by Abi Research.

"It's the festive time is pretty amazing holiday has passed. However, handset vendors remain calm and confident looking at this in 2012," said Vice President Abi Research, Jake Saunders, told the Boy Genius Report, Saturday (7/1 / 2012).

"The prospect of growth would result in an increase of 8 percent, with 1.67 billion handsets shipped worldwide by the end of 2012. But what's interesting is the shipment of mobile phones based on 3G and 4G will capture more than 50 percent of overall sales," he added.

ABI Research also said that Samsung has continued to push into the smartphone market while Apple is targeting the developing countries of South America and Brazil and see more success in China than in India

"North America may only represent 15 percent of mobile phone and smartphone features which are shipped globally, but because of the high proportion of sales of high end smartphones, it is not impossible even melesar 40 percent of smartphones sold by the vendor," he said.
