Samsung has teamed up with Gakai to launch a cloud computing-based gaming service (cloud gaming service), which is connected to the television. The new venture was announced at E3 2012 event that will bring a number of game titles on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox to the device using the Samsung Smart Hub.

Gakai had previously conducted a similar partnership with LG to provide gaming services in the smart TV (Smart TV). CES 2012 exhibition held in Las Vegas, United States (U.S.), the company also showed off a prototype of his platform.
