Rumored that Samsung has said the company was not interested in acquiring Research In Motion (RIM). The news came after a report said that RIM co-CEO Jim Balsillie met with Samsung.
Reporting from Siliconrepublic, Thursday (19/01/2012), a report from BGR says that RIM is in an effort to reverse the fate of the company at this time. Not only that, but also reportedly is in talks to license its software to other companies perangakat and is considering selling the entire company, and Samsung is specifically targeted as a potential buyer.
But Samsung has denied the news through a spokesman. Told Reuters, Samsung does not consider to get the rim and not interested to do so. Biacara interpreter also said that Balsillie is not approached Samsung about a possible acquisition, although he did not say anything about the Samsung is buying some assets or lisesi RIM software.
RIM as is known, is currently struggling to compete in the smartphone market and has been 'hit' with a number of setbacks, including the BlackBerry service interruption. Not only the interruption of service, but also retirement plan BlackBerry device 10 to the end of 2012.
